What is the story is about: This story is about a girl called Samantha Forster who is 13 years old. Her friend Ryan wants to recapture his horse called Hotspot. Hotspot has been running with a wild herd. Ryan needs to capture Hotspot for the sake of Shy Boots, Hotspots foal. Samantha wants to help, but will Ryan's plans to catch Hotspot do more harm than good. 		Author: Terri Farley

I think this book deserves a 5/ 5 because it is very cool. It has a good story line and it is very interesting to read.

Samantha who is 13 and lives on River Bend Ranch.
Jennifer who who is Samantha's best friend who lives on Gold Dust Ranch.
Ryan who owns Hotspot and Shy Boots who also lives on Gold Dust Ranch.
Jake who is Samantha's Friend and lives on Three Ponies Ranch.

My Favourite part in this story is when Samantha sees a wild stallion called the Phantom on a hill when she is taking her horse Ace and another horse called Popcorn home to the Ranch she lives on called River Bend Ranch.

Likes and dislikes about the story:
I like the whole book and I have no dislikes about this book.
When Samantha and her friend called Pam see the Phantoms herd and the lead mare gets kicked by Hotspot by a river.
What audience would this book be best suited to?
I think this book would suite anyone who likes horses.
