3. Invent a sleigh for Father Christmas that will overcome all his problems, and will be more imaginative and exciting to ride.
4. How many ways can you think of to make Christmas better for everyone?
5. Discuss with a friend the sorts of presents father Christmas would like. Decide on 3 he would most like and say why.
6. Write a letter to Father Christmas asking for what you would like for Christmas. Tell him what you will do to make Christmas happy for your friends and family.
7. Make a cartoon strip story about Father Christmas.
8. Create a uniquely NZ way to celebrate Christmas.
9. Design a new Father Christmas outfit so that it is more suited to NZ's summer Christmas.
Invent a new toy and describe it. Consider these things.
  • Who will play with it?
  • What materials will it be made of?
  • What will be its' purpose?
  • How will it work?
  • How will it be advertised?
